WOYWW - Wednesday 186
I discovered a blog that has links to crafter's work desk pictures. The blog is located here:
Stamping Ground
Of course I want to participate - so here is my work desk on the Wednesday after Christmas. I am in between projects which means my desk is a mess!

Dear Blog,
I have lots of gifts to wrap. But here is a Valentine Card that we created for OWH. I wanted to share it before I send them out the door.
I used a stamp set Love Notes by Craft Lounge for the Hearts. The sentiment if from a Hero Arts sayings set. The spray is Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Scarlet.

Dear Blog,
I've had a busy week and a half. I've done gift exchanges, made Valentine cards for OWH, made Christmas cards for the elderly, made casseroles and desserts for potlucks and Christmas gatherings. I'm exhausted. :-)
Here is one of the cards that we made for the troops for Valentines Day. It is simple, but pretty. I had a short amount of time for the design and inexperienced help so I went with simple:
This is the snowman card we made to give to the elderly. I used the swiss dots embossing folder. I used a Peachy Keen stamp set for the snowman face:

Dear Blog,
I've been working on designing the Christmas Cards we will be making for the elderly. Here is the first one. It was requested that we make a penguin card and a snowman card.
I used Kraft Cardstock for the base card. I used a snowflake embossing folder with the red cardstock. The penguin was cut out using the Silhouette Cameo. I used flower soft for the pom pom on the hat. The sentiment is stamped using an Inkadinkado sentiment. The pattern paper is from Hobby Lobby by Paper Studio. I hope you enjoy.

Dear Blog,
I used my Cameo Silhouette for the second time to cut out the sleigh silhouette that I used to make this card. The card stock is 5 1/2 X 12 and is scored at 2", 4", and 8".
I also used my Kiwi Lane mini templates in order to create the snow. The background is done with Tim Holtz Distress inks Broken China and Chipped Sapphire (my new favorite color distress ink). I outlined the moon and snow with a glitter pen.

I made a video going over how to make the snowflake gift package Christmas card. I hope that it is helpful.
I used the following:
Kraft cardstock
white card stock
Pattern cardstock from My Minds Eye Signature Christmas
White Embossing powder
blue sparkle embossing powder
Tim Holtz distress ink in Broken China and Chipped Sapphire
Twine in two shades of blue
a gift tag cut out of white card stock using the Cricut
Versamark ink
Snowflake stamps by Inkadinkado
