WOYWW - 188

WOYWW - 188

I have been cluttering up my work desk somewhat, but still not to the extent I would like.  I've got a little cold going on (excuses - I know) and haven't felt like creating. :-(  But I have been doing a lot of blog hopping and I've gotten some great ideas.  As soon as I'm feeling better, I will have all kinds of things to try.

If you want to see what all this is about and see other workdesks, hop on over to The Stamping Ground and see what Julia started.

Happy Blogging.

  5. My goodness, what a fabulous work space!! Thanks for stopping by my work space. Re: my new cutter-I like the guillotine side ,but haven't really figured out how to use the side with the circular cutter. There isn't really anything to line the paper up to on the edge.

    1. Blog hopping can be SO inspiring but sometimes I get paralysed by all the things I see and want to do to the point I simply can't do ANYTHING. :) Every WOYWW day my head just gets too full of crafty goodness.

Oh well, I'll attack one thing at a time and MAYBE make it thru 1/4 of my list ...

  14. Hi April, thanks for visiting my blog. I LOVE your room, and you have your space so well organized, so well thought-out. Very inspiring. Your window provides you with the natural lighting I wish I had in my basement lair. I am trying to think of a way to have my Cameo & laptop somewhere in the area, so that I could begin to use how to use the Cameo. Not getting much use left in its case! I need an area where it has plenty of space around it. Unfortunately, I have appropriated what was meant to be a family/tv room, & I can't just ditch the furniture too! My goal for 2013 - notice I said goal - not resolution - is to straighten up, organize, list the supplies/tools I have, and USE IT! Not just buy more. Thanks for sharing such an inspirational room. Will be back to visit, and hope your cold has much improved. Hugs

    1. There is a blog that is aspiring to use all their stash and has asked others to join. UIU - Use it UP! I've asked to be included, but haven't gotten the email yet. Or I accidentally deleted it. I'll have to find the blog and post it. :-)

P.S. I will look for you on the Stamping Ground and put this info in the comments of your blog. :-)

  17. Hi April and thanks for visiting me. So you got a Bind-it-All or a different make of binder for Christmas too. Have you used yours yet? I've not got round to binding with mine yet but have worked out all the measuring parts for the hole setting. I think you have been the only one to remark on the Dr Who pencil, DS seems to have grown out of using themand we seem to have loads about so I sneeked it! Your desk looks pretty jammed packed to me so hope you are feeling better soon. BJ#52

  27. Sometimes I think our mojo goes on holiday because it knows our mind needs time to mull over things. That said, I hope inspiration has struck again.

  31. Hello April, just popped back to answer your question. I got a 72 set of PrismaColor Pencils for Christmas, they're wax based (I think) art pencils that are blendable with either odorless mineral spirits or a mineral oil (some people use baby oil but I don't like the smell). You can blend out all the lines and I've seen some folks who are so good with them I thought they were using Copics to be honest! I'm still practicing, I've put a couple of cards up recently that were blended with mineral oil and I've done two more today for up-coming posts. Having fun colouring though!

    Hugs

  32. I believe that sometimes walking, reading, or blog hopping can be truly inspirational. However, sometimes I just have to dive in and something creative will emerge. I hope you are feeling better and that your creative juices are back.

  34. hi April! Hope you are feeling better! Loved spying in your room. The clothes pins are birthdays gifts, hope to blog about them when I am done...jeez had 5 sets of 5 each to make. Almost have them done. Now to make the boxes they go into....they have magnets on the back, and can be used on the fridge, or on the counter holding a recipe card or photos or on your stiff at work! Hope they are well recieved...well back to seeing if they are dry... Thank toy for your kind visit

  35. I do hope you are feeling all better now. :) That is a fab craft room, you've got there! Looks like you have got lots of space and plenty of toys, I mean supplies to work with. :) Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me such a sweet comment already...it is hard to believe what can made with just paper, huh? I'm not a scrapbooker, I mostly make cards, so I have to find other ways to use up my paper hoard and paper crafting seems to use up plenty! lol Anyways, have a great week...um, since the weekend is already over! I don't know where it went, though! :) Deeyll #142
