God on the Side of the Road Sunday - The Fall

Every day the girls and I take a walk up and down our road.  We pass this flower that grows on a fence that surrounds a pasture for our neighborhood cows.  Since I walk in the morning I am often able to catch the dew forming on the flowers when I take their pictures.  I am amazed at the quality of the picture from my iPhone.  Sometimes.  Sometimes - when I try to get the deer who stand farther back - I get frustrated.

This is a pod of some sort - just another one of those beauties of nature I see every morning.

And the first signs of fall - this leaf is beginning to turn red - my favorite color.

Take a moment each day to appreciate all the beauty that surrounds us.  It is there for us to just enjoy.

Have a great day and be inspired.

Psalms 8:3-4  When I look up at the heavens, which your fingers made, and see the moon and the stars, which you set in place, of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them?  Of what importance is mankind, that you should pay attention to them.

  1. Good morning April! I squealed with joy when I saw your comment on my blog this morning! I am so happy you decided to join me on my crazy journey to let go of my hoarding ways. I am now accountable since I put myself out there and I think that is just what this Master Hoarder needs. But I want you to know that I really appreciate that you took the time to check back and comment. Some might check back but never comment so it doesn't push me and Lord knows, I need some nudging!

I love your post today. That looks like a Datura flower. They are so beautiful. A friend of mine has one and I always say I want to start growing one in my garden. I too love fall. It is my favorite season and I find I am constantly taking time to enjoy it. I only wish I could find that same appreciation when the snow comes. I like it for a week and then I am the first to grump about it. Hee hee... Well I am off to have some tea but I will try to let go of my scrapbook phobias and make a LO with my products. I haven't made a traditional scrapbook LO in years. Focus mostly on cards now and Project Life so this first one should be interesting. But I am glad to have you along for this creative journey.

Have a blessed day and keep these lovely posts coming. Such a wonderful read especially nice to start my day off.
