I just love Michelle Zindorf's work. She makes the most beautiful cards. I attempted to CASE one of her cards. Although mine is not nearly as beautiful as hers - it turned out okay. My motto is practice makes perfect.
Here is the card Michelle did - Michelle Zindorf.
Here is mine:
For the background patterned paper I used a piece from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline 6 X 6 paper pad. I used a Fiskars punch to create the tag. I used kraft card stock for the card base. And the ribbon is a green sheer ribbon.
Have a great day and be inspired.

Hi April First I have to tell you how much I love your banner. It is so bright and happy and a wonderful way to capture the attention of someone visiting your blog.
ReplyDeleteI really like your card. It is a card that I would display for a long time if I were to receive it.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Small steps are a wonderful way to begin a new journey. Have fun posting and especially creating cards that you can share with all of us.
Thank you. The bright colors keep my creative juices flowing.

I think you did a fabulous job with this technique! I really like the image placed in the oval instead of the traditional square!
ReplyDeleteThank you Margaret - I'm all about being different. lol

I looked at Michelle's card, and it is beautiful. However, I like yours just as much, because of the unusual shape and use of contrasting colors. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteThank you Arnoldo. :-)
