FLOWER POWER!!! This Week on My Blog

The theme this week is FLOWER POWER!  I LOVE paint splatters, splats and swishes, but I ADORE flowers.  If there is a flower stamp - I must have it.  I am a flower freak.  And I'm proud of it.  :-)

I went to Stampaway in Cincinnati this weekend and guess what I bought......yep - some flower stamps.  One of the first booths we went to was Stamps by Judith and Heather.  Heather was demonstrating their stamps.  I love watching the demonstrations.  They inspire me and show me what  I can do with the stamps I purchase.

Heather created this work of art for me to demonstrate some of their stamps:

Isn't that awesome?

This is my creation.  I totally CASE'd hers:

I actually used stamps from Artistic Impressions as well as the stamps by Judith and Heather.  I had so much fun making this card.  I used stubbies by Heather and Judith to make the butterflies and the ladybug.  The butterflies were made with a heart stubbie and the ladybug was made with a coffee bean stubbie.

I also used Tombow Markers to color the clay pots.  I used Archival Ink to stamp the flowers and foliage.

I will definitely be using these stamps again.  It's almost like creating a little work of art.  I'm also going to be watching videos to get more ideas.

I hope you enjoyed my version of Heather's work of art.  Stay tuned tomorrow for some more flower cards.  My design team (Diane and Sherry) has contributed lots of cards for this week's theme.

Have a great day and be inspired.

Ephesians 5:1-2 Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
