Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Thanksgiving is over;  black Friday is over;  and, the Christmas season has officially begun.  And in honor of that we are celebrating snow this week on the blog.

I happen to love winter.  It is my favorite season.  I love the clothes and the weather - I just love everything about it.  I know - I'm special.  :-)

Here is the first snow card of the season.  It is a mixture box card and shaker card;  although, it doesn't have much shake:

When I make another card like this and I will;  I will use foam tape for the shaker part so there is more movement.

You can find this box card at SVGCuts.com.  I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the pieces for this box card, but you can use any cutting machine to recreate this card.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Stay tuned tomorrow for a snowy flip it card from Sherry.

Have a great day and be inspired.

April

2 Corinthians 9:15  Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

  1. That's fab April. I love snow until it turns slippery:) Purchase some all weather boots this afternoon, so hopefully I am set for whatever is thrown at us. We are due to go into a colder spell.

    You take care. Sue

  2. Hi April, I love this card. I've been watching shaker card videos and they use the foam tape on a roll and sometimes double it up. That was going to be my next card to make....a Shaker card...and you just gave me some ideas.....thank you!
Now....how about a Snow Globe card....that would make a great card....can't wait to see it.
Snow is my favorite time of year too....usually people will look at me like I'm crazy when I say how much I love snow.....as long as everyone is safe.
    Happy crafting!

    1. I made another shaker card and had to use three layers of foam tape. It's a little too thick for my liking.
And a snow globe card is on my to do list. :-)
I hope you and your family are doing well.
