WOYWW 292 - Getting Back to the Old Grind

It is the middle of the week of the first full week of this year which means life is getting back to normal after the holidays.  If you want to join the world's largest desk hop - check out Julia's Blog.   I am participating as I try to do every week.

My desk was on the road to recovery from all of the holiday projects, but then my Mother donated some stamps she isn't going to use:

This part is pretty clear.

I made a banner for a girl at work so this side is still messy.  And I stamped some images getting ready to put together the card.  I like to put papers together and step away before finishing.

This area isn't nearly as nice as it was last week.

Tune in tomorrow for more punny cards for this week's theme - for the pun of it.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day and where ever you are - be there.

April

Isaiah 43:19  See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up;  do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

  1. April, Oh I sigh every time I see your fab craft room.

I've not been into doing any crafts for over three months now. I have got the odd card made up when needed, but my heart hasn't been in it. Hopefully my mojo will soon return.

    1. Sometimes I have to make myself go upstairs to the room. I'm always glad I did. I don't always leave it having made something but at least I tried. :-) I think I am more creative when I spend some time in my craft room every day. It's like practice makes perfect. :-)

  6. Hi, April, happy WOYWW and happy 2015! I'll bet almost everyone's desks look a bit like this right now, with the detritus of holiday crafting still in place and any new acquisitions just getting plopped down on top. My table is making me nuts right now -- I think I need to put some things away!! ~ Laura #65
