Dry Embossing, Wet Embossing, It's All About Embossing

I embossed multiple ways on one card.  And watercolored and embossed on another card.

The first card was something I had pictured in my mind.  Of course the final product isn't exactly how I pictured it, but I like it.

I first used my Silhoutte Cameo to cut a 'viewmaster slide' stencil.  To create a stencil I use flexible cutting boards that I get from the Dollar Tree.  It took me a few tries to get it cut out.  I think I need a deep cut blade.  I don't know if I can get one of those for my silhouette.

I used the stencil that I created and did some watercoloring with it.  I then stamped the sentiment in the middle of a circle that I punched out.  I used Versamark ink and embossed it with black embossing powder.  I used a button brad to attach the sentiment to the card.

This next card has dry embossing and wet embossing:

The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder.  The background is dry embossed with a Teresa Collins embossing folder.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.  Tune in tomorrow for some more embossing.  I'm not even going to mention the Christmas card.

Have a great day and where ever you are - be there.

John 10:28 - 30  I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;  no one will snatch them out of my hand.  My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all;  no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.  I and the Father are one.

  1. Both fab cards, but I really like the first one. I love the colours. I have some watercolour paints, but never thought to use them on my cards.

Hope you have a relaxing evening. Sue
