So my youngest daughter's birthday was in August and she told me that a quilt top that I was working on would be a good birthday gift for her. I thought that was a perfect idea. And then I started working on the border and the backing. Ugh.
I must have been brain dead because I cut the material the wrong way for the border. I sewed wrong sides together for the backing and for the first time since I started free motion quilting - I had to tear out stitches. And believe me if I tear out a stitch - IT IS BAD.
Check out the first video in this series of how it all went wrong. But even though it all went wrong - I still think the quilt will be okay. :-)
I had a little visitor who also kept me entertained.
I am not a professional quilting, I just do it for fun. I am sure there are others out there like me so I want to keep quilting real by showing what goes right as well as what goes wrong.
Have a great day and enjoy some chocolate.
