It is once again Wednesday which means that it is time to participate in the largest weekly desk hop in the WORLD. And this is all thanks to Julia of The Stamping Ground.
My weeks fly by even more now that my company has decided that we all need to work in the office and not from home. I have been discombobulated for the last couple weeks while getting back into the groove of getting and showering every day. :-) It sounds bad, but those of you who work from home know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. lol
Anyhoo, my desk is a disaster area. I am taking my cards to a craft show on Friday so I have lots of things I need to get done. Wish me luck.
Here is the mess:
Stay tuned tomorrow for some more projects using these week's theme - Trains, planes and automobiles.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I promise I will visit more people this week. We took my oldest daughter out for her birthday last Wednesday. I know - whine, whine, whine. I need some cheese to go with my wine. ;-)

1 Corinthians 6:19 - 20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price, therefore honor god with your bodies.

I fully understand your issues I work from home and on the road so I get the best of both worlds, thank the heavens I don't have an office building that I have to attend on a daily basis that would send me nuts, I like working from home and yes you shower when you can and not to schedule. Being on the road too makes it hard as you have to be prepared. I think your desk is calling you for play time, so I will let you get too it.

It's such a shame you can't work from home anymore! Is that a Crop-a-dile punch I see there? I've just got one myself for punching holes. Those babies can bite through cardboard like butter!
ReplyDeleteNot again! I keep forgetting my signature (but hey, at least you get an extra comment!) zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #78
ReplyDeleteNot a mess - lots of interest there. Love the pink ATG gun (I'm stuck with the old yellow one - might treat myself one day to a pink one). Thanks for sharing. Sorry I’m late commenting. Hope that you have a lovely crafting week to come. Hazel, WOYWW #81 x
ReplyDeleteOh that must be a shock to the system, having to go back working in an office. I hope it's not too far from your home. The drive/commute is often the most stressful part of the day.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see a Bible verse at the bottom. I like this verse. Our body is a temple because the Holy Spirit lives in us, so we must look after our bodies.
Looking forward to seeing your cards.
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.
Have a good week,
Lisca#31
I'm with Hazel. That's not a mess - it's a really interesting space waiting patiently for you to come play.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Great space, Good luck at the craft show! Thanks for stoppig by earlier!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely place to play. I do hope you manage to find the time! Also hope you enjoyed the craft show, and show us any goodies you were 'forced to buy' heehee! Hugs, Chris # 16
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your desk! Lot going on there!! Have a great week Ginny M #63
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you, April! I don't have a "regular" job, but I do know what you mean--it's hard to get "gussied up," as my son says, every day, when you're not used to doing so! And in a world so full of "self," that's a verse that tends to get glossed over at times . . .
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by this woyww,

loved the look at your desk - so much creativity! It must be hard to adjust with the change in work. Hope it is going okay. Thank you so much for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteHi April, sorry for the very late visit, I'm away from home again and catching up from my hotel room! Hope your craft show went well, looks like you had some beautiful cards emerging fro the creative chaos! Annie C #82
