I decided to do a comparison side by side of the Copic markers, Prismacolor markers and Chromatix markers by American Crafts. I was hoping the Chromatix markers by American Crafts would win because they come in sets of 3. The three are the light, medium and dark of a particular color like purple, red, orange, etc. That is so convenient as trying to find the right colors in the Copic and Prismacolor poses a challenge for me. Please take into consideration I am new to the marker game.
Here is the final picture. See if you can figure out which flowers were colored with which markers.
Here are the types of markers I used.

I've been at it again. This time I wanted to see how fast I could create a 2 page layout choosing 1 page from my Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge book. I chose the Dots page. It didn't go as quickly as I would have liked - but I plan on continuing to try and improve my timing.

I'll work on the video tomorrow.

I'm All Buggy
I was very busy today. I'm not sure why it took me all day to make this card - I think it was the video that went along with it that took so long. I like the way the card turned out.
Here is the list of products that I used to create the card:
White cardstock
Inkadinkaclings - Insect Amalgam Cling Set
Stampin Up Stamp from 2006 Too Terrific Tags for thank you sentiment
Cricut Cartridge - Elegant Edges
Stampin Up Ink - Elegant Eggplant, Not Quite Navy and Lucky Limeade
Clear Embossing Powder from Ranger
Tim Holtz Distress Inks - dusty concord, faded jeans, peeled paint
The cardstock for the card was cut at 6 x 6 inches, the piece of cardstock that was inked and distressed was 3 x 6 inches and the cardstock used for the interior of the card was 2 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches.
I hope you like the card and the video.

We had a graduation party for my 2 daughters on Sunday so I am designing Thank You cards because we need a bunch!
Here is the first one I made - I used Stampin Up stamp Summer Silhouettes and Real Red Ink:
And here is card number 2. I used Basic Grey for the printed piece of the card. The stamp is Unity itty bitty stamp from the stamp of the month club:
My youngest likes card number 2.
I will continue to design and share.

Kiwi Lane and Scrapbooking
I came across the Kiwi Lane Booth at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Louisville KY. I loved how elegant the designs looked and how easily a page came together. I've since married the Kiwi Lane framing with the Cricut images and I really like my pages. I will upload some examples shortly.
