Happy Easter Bunny Bucket

I want to wish everyone who celebrates a Happy Easter.  I will be cooking dinner for my family and friends.  The traditional ham, new potatoes, pretzel salad and other good stuff.

Here is my Easter project.  I used my new Silhouette Cameo 3 to create the bunny from a white bucket.  Think white buckets are easy to find.  Think again.  I ended up at Michaels, but I looked everywhere else first.  Little metal buckets that are decorated are easy to find, but not plain white.

Bunny Bucket Recipe

I started with a plain white bucket.  Lori Whitlock has a cute bunny face and ears in the Silhouette Design Store.  I pulled that in and cut the black pieces out in 651 vinyl.  I changed the colors on the whiskers to pink and cut those out along with the centers of the ears in pink.  White ears were cut out in white.  I used masking tape also known as contact paper after I weeded the vinyl to capture the bunny face.  I placed it on the bucket.  Ears and whiskers were glued on with Scotch glue.  I added grass and plastic eggs and there you have it.

It's Good Friday

It is good Friday for those who celebrate Easter.  In honor of the day - I wanted to share another Easter project.

I've playing around with my Spectrum Noir markers and a Penny Black stamp.

Hippity Hoppity Easter's on it's Way.......

I spent this weekend preparing for Easter.  I used an old Tim Holtz set from Archiver's that I hadn't touched and made some cute little cards.

The Easter egg card is pretty Easter specific, but I think the others could be used for other purposes.

I was introduced to a Wink of Stella which you can see on each card.

I couldn't find the envelopes that hold these 3" x 3" card, but thank goodness I could find my envelope punch.  LOVE that thing.

It's Easter Week So Let's Celebrate

It is the week before Easter so I thought sharing Easter projects was in order.

I made some cards for a coworker.  I've made a similar card for another coworker, but I added a little birdie to these box cards:

The chick is from Stamps by Judith and Heather.  I used Tombow watercolor markers to color him in.  The pattern paper is by Doodlebug.

Box Cards but Not Exactly This Week's Theme

I spent a lot of time on Sunday making cards, but none of them went along with this week's theme.  But since I'm in charge (this is the only thing I have any control over) I decided I was going to share my work.

Here is the first card I did for a shower I attended on Saturday.  You can find this in the Silhouette store design #56149.  It is by Lori Whitlock and is called a2 box card:  newborn baby

I used a paper pad with pastels to create this card.  I believe it's by Paper Studio.

Here is another card I made for someone at work - she needed an Easter card.  This is also a cut in the Silhouette Design Store and it is design #56147:
