Jan's Digi Stamps Anything Goes Challenge

It is the third Monday of the month and that means another challenge on Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges Blog.  Always anything goes means lot of fun and creativity.  Two lucky winners will be awarded a $10 Gift Code to the on-line store.  One winner will be from only those entries that used a Jan's Digi Stamp image and the second from all other entries.

Finding an image for my card was easy because of the wonderful selection at the Jan's Digi Stamps on-line store.

Christmas Card

The beauty of this image is that it was already colored.  I took the Ornaments 2021 set along with a sentiment from the Santa's Gift set.  I just recently discovered Oxide Ink Spray and I just love it.  I am a paint splatter fan and the spray mimics paint splatter.  I decided to spray lightly over the image with Rustic Wilderness.  I then dabbed a brush that had some water on the ornaments to break up the green.  I backed the sentiment in the card stock sprayed with green.  Evidently I was in a green mood because I also matted the card in green.

I hope you take the time to go look at Jan's Digi Stamps, she's got some great images and the pre colored images are great if you are pressed for time, but want to give someone a hand made card.  I hope the holidays find you and your family doing well.

Have a great day, eat some chocolate and be kind to everyone.

Anything Goes Challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps

I just love woodgrain and this rolling pin and bowls were perfect for a woodgrain background.  I took the images from the Flour Child set along with a sentiment from the same set.  I sized the bowl into a larger bowl and a smaller bowl.  I cut out the sentiment and put it on top of the rolling pin and you might not be able to see it, but I added a little woodgrain to the rolling pin with a colored pencil.  The woodgrain background is from Hobby Lobby and can be found with multiple colored woodgrain card stock.  I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the images.  I inked the edges of the card stock and the rolling pin.  And in my stash I found wood dots which finished this card perfectly.

I hope you take the time to go look at Jan's Digi Stamps, she's got some great images and the pre colored images are great if you are pressed for time, but want to give someone a hand made card.  They are also great for scrapbooking projects.  Hmmm....  That gives me an idea.

Anything Goes Challenge on Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges

It is the beginning of the month and that means another challenge on Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges Blog.

I started with the pot of pansies from the SpringTime set along with a sentiment from Floral Flourish.  I printed the flowers using Microsoft Word.  I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the image.  I found this beautiful wood grain paper at Hobby Lobby.  I am a sucker for wood grain no doubt.  I cut out the most interesting part of the paper for the background of this card.  The banner dies are from an old set from My Favorite Things.  Those stitched banner dies never go out of style, do they.  The background banner was cut out of Kraft card stock.  The front piece was cut out after i printed the sentiment on white card stock.  Then I inked it with Tim Holtz Oxide Ink to kind of coordinate with the purple in the pansies.  The glitter enamel dots are just a bonus.  I layered the card front in the Kraft card stock as well.

I hope you take the time to go look at Jan's Digi Stamps, she's got some great images and the pre colored images are great if you are pressed for time, but want to give someone a hand made card.  They are also great for scrapbooking projects.  Hmmm....  That gives me an idea.

The beauty of this image is that it was already colored.  I took the bouquet from the Floral Flourish set along with a sentiment from the same set.  I printed the flowers using Microsoft Word.  I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the image.  I used a stamp die to cut out the sentiment.  The ovals were cut using a set of oval dies from Elizabeth Crafts.  All the paper was pulled from my stash of scraps.

Anything Goes on Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges

It is the 1st of the month and that means another challenge on Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges Blog.  Always anything goes means lot of fun and creativity.  Two lucky winners will be awarded a $10 Gift Code to the on-line store.  One winner will be from only those entries that used a Jan's Digi Stamp image and the second from all other entries.

The beauty of this image is that it was already colored.  I took the lily from the Easter Blessings set along with a sentiment from the same set.  I printed the flowers using Microsoft Word.  I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the image.  I used a tag die from My Favorite Things to cut out the sentiment.  The ovals were cut using a set of oval dies from Elizabeth Crafts.  All the paper was pulled from my stash of scraps.  The sequins were added last for a little dimension.  I inked around the edges of everything to give it a more finished look.  I also rounded the corners using a We R Memory Keepers chomper.

I hope you take the time to go look at Jan's Digi Stamps, she's got some great images and the pre colored images are great if you are pressed for time, but want to give someone a hand made card.  They are also great for scrapbooking projects.  Hmmm....  That gives me an idea.
