I spent last night working on a sympathy card.  I actually made two.  I used a tulip stamp that I found at Archivers.  I used Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and Prismacolor markers to color the tulips.  I used Tim Holtz distress ink to ink the framing oval in red.  I used the Creative Memories cutting system to cut out the oval shapes.  I noticed a little running of the markers.  I think I need to invest in some more expensive white cardstock for my coloring.  :-)

I made these cards through the week, but haven't had the time to share them.  I didn't realize when I got the Hero Arts poppy stamp that the whole background would be black.  I can't decide if I like it or not.

The peace sign I made with my new ecraft machine.  No sticky mat required - I'm psyched!  I plan on making many more designs with that baby.

I worked on thank you cards for my daughters to use for the graduation gifts they received.  Here are a couple examples:

I used stampin up ink and stamp sets to create these cards.  The buttons and pearls were some I had.  I think they turned out well.  I hope you are inspired to make some, too,

Even though I'm supposed to be working on my scrapbooking - I've been making cards.  I am so easily distracted.

Here is the feel better soon card for my Dad - he has been under the weather to say the least.  I hope this will lift his spirits.  Forgive the poor photography.  The lighting in my basement did not cooperate for this picture:

I had the bright idea to do something in black and white.  And I just love the Stampin Up Papillon Potpourri set  -  so I got busy.  Here is the result.  I'm very pleased.

I've been making cards for the last 2 hours - this is the only thing that came close to being considered a card.  LOL  I'm not feelin it tonight.  :-)

I used the new Stampin Up Papilion Potpourri Stamp set along with Stampin Up Ink (Crumb Cake and Concord Crush).  I used stickles to make it sparkle.  I added trails with my glitter gel pen.  And of course I inked around the edges with the Concord Crush.  I used a Nestabilities frame to cut out the white cardstock that the butterflies are on.  Added the ribbon and this is what you get.  Still can't decide if I like it.  For some reason the clear stickles show up as blue in the picture.  They are clear

Hi everyone.  I've been busy card making.  I have a swap that I participate in every other month and I decided to do a birthday card for this swap.  I used Stampin Up's Up Up and Away stamp set along with Stampin Up Ink to create this card.

I used Kraft card stock cut in half to create an A2 size card - 5 1/2 " x 4 1/4".   The balloon print paper is My Minds Eye Lime Twist Out of the Blue 'Smile' Balloons paper.  I cut that a little smaller than the 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  I used the Crop a Dile Corner Chomper to do the corner of the card and the paper adhered to the card.  I used the cloud design.  I used the Stampin Up - Up Up and Away stamp set for the balloons and the sentiment.  I inked the edges of all the paper with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain.  I cut out two of the balloons that I stamped separately and popped them up using Stampin Up Dimensionals.  I then brought them out more with Glossy Accents.  On the inside of the card I attached a small strip of the balloon print paper and inked the edges.  I wrapped a red and white twin around the Kraft card stock on the front that had the stamped balloons.

Here is the video:

And last but not least - this is a two page layout I created using Kiwi Lane templates that can be found at www.kiwilane.com.  They use a process called framing and I love it for my scrapbooking.  Believe me - you will see more of it.  I also inked the edges of the SEI paper Bright Blossoms paper pack with Tim Holtz distress ink.

This is a thank you card for daughter's use.  She needs to send the people who gave her graduation gifts thank you cards.  I still have more to make.  This one is for Emily.  I used some paper from the SEI Bright Blossom paper pack to create this cute little card.  I used the butterly from the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge and inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Inks.

I used my Inkadinkadoo stamp of this beautiful humming bird from the mindscapes set to create this simple card.
I've been working on some projects, but haven't taken the time to post them to my blog - so here goes:

Here is an all white card.  It turned out prettier than I thought it would.  I used Pearl Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels to spritz the flowers.  I used a pearl accent for the middle of the flower.  I used an embossing folder by sizzix for the dry embossing of glittery white cardstock by Stampin Up.  The stamp I used for the embossed piece that the flower sits on is a Tim Holtz stamp flourish 2.  The flowers are Mulberry Street by Petaloo.  The ribbon is American Crafts.
