Yep! I rearranged my craft room again. I blame my parents. Until I was 14, we moved at least every 2 years. I've lived in my house for about 20 years so I think I rearrange my craft room because I 'need' change. lol
Enough of blaming my parents for my problems! ;-) It is once again Wednesday and that means that we share our work space with the rest of the world via Julia's Site - The Stamping Ground.
My desk is a little messy as I am not finished with my rearranging.
Ok - so it's very messy.
Here are a couple other views of the rearrangement. Is that a word?
I still need to move stuff around and create some more floor space. I would love some more tabletop space, but I will never have enough of that as I have said a million times. :-)
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day and be inspired.

I love your craft room! I don't know if rearrangement is a word--but it is for crafters because that's what we doo all the time. Sometimes when I'm just stuck and can't seem to be very creative, I start reorganizing and it always helps. Hugs and Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh at EatWriteDreamStitch.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI have a shrinking desk on a permanent basis. I clean it up and when I look again it is down to a 6"x6" square!
ReplyDeleteOkay your opening post had me laugh. I would have to say your parents because my parents movie just about every two years when I was a kid and we weren't military. lol I get it but luck has had it i haven't rearranged my craft room in a long time but it has crossed my mind. =) And yes rearrangement is a word I looked it up. lol Happy WOYWW!

You have a gorgeous craft room with loads of space that many crafters would die for.
ReplyDeleteWho cares if it's a bit messy ocassionally. Not so long ago I visited a friens who had moved into a new house. They had actually had the old one knocked down and rebuilt. When designing the new place she had a purpose built studio made.
It was spotless, she had not used it other than to hang a few things on the wall and I wanted to cry, I would have been much happier if there had been a big mess with stuff all over blocking the doors lol! Hope you understand, I love your place much better.
Happy crafting, Angela x @Felix the Crafty Cat #7
I love your storage units and pegboard organizational system, because everything is visible and easily accessible. I think rearranging things in your studio is a wonderful way to get creative juices flowing as you rediscover tools/materials, as well as seeing materials in a new manner. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI also grew up in a military family, so I know exactly how you feel. This year officially marks the longest I have ever lived in one city. I'm a bit stir crazy myself. ;)

You've got a lovely room, with some great storage and loads of great things to play with! Have fun, Chris # 10 xx
ReplyDeleteHi April,
ReplyDeleteWow - what you have done looks great! I used to constantly re-arrange the furniture in my bedroom growing up. My family didn't move around like yours (two houses my entire life). I'm in the process of putting a craft desk up in bedroom and I was thinking of getting some pegboard and cut it the width of the shelves. Yours only inspires me to do that!
Thanks for your visit already. I'm hoping to at least get most of my visiting done today and tomorrow!
Happy belated WOYWW
Hugs, Kay (39)
What a fun space you have April!! As much as I love crafting, I think I love organizing my space and supplies in my craftroom even more!! I moved around when I was young too...it must be a "thing!" haha! In the pic with the pegboard, what kind of machine is sitting right there on the front right that says "Brother?" I couldn't figure it out and now I'm curious!

ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous room! I love all that storage against the purple wall!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by earlier :)
love the craft room! I too am in the thro's of moving rooms around. I am finally getting around to it after saying I would for 2 years. I haven't been able to post on Wednesdays for a while and I have missed it! Sorry I am so late getting around! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #62
ReplyDeleteYour room looks great : ). My father was in the army, so I never learned how to clean a house with stuff in it lol Happy WOYWW! #5
ReplyDeleteApril, you are so organized. We can never have to much "stuff" just have to have more room....lol. It's funny, I am in process of moving stuff around in my Craft room when I took a little break and was looking through your Blog and came across this post. I got some inspiration and ideas had not thought of....thanks!

To rearrange the craft room is no small task. I can only work in small increments at that one. Well done indeed! I too have the white crates. I spread mine out. Me thinks after looking at your lovely wall, I may have to restack them to get more efficient use out of them. Thanks for the peeps
ReplyDeleteKeep smiling and creating.
