Valentine's Cards using 6 x 6 Paper Pad

A couple weekends ago we had craft day at church.  We started this several years back when Archivers closed.  We used to go to Scrapmania on the last Friday of every month at Archivers, but when they closed we had no place to meet.  So, the last Saturday of every month, we take our crafts to the basement of my church along with a treat and work.  Along with talking.  Good food and good friends equal a good time.

This month, I brought a 6 x 6 Valentines paper pad from Michaels along with some solid card stock and embellishments.  I used 3 different card sketches which ended up looking like one card sketch - not sure how that happened.  Here is one of the cards I made.

This card consists only of the paper from the paper pad.  Layering card stock makes a card look more polished.  I love combining different patterns of paper to get a unique look.  I think the paper is what drew me to crafting in the first place.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Tune in next time for another paper crafting or t-shirt project.  Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
