Anything Goes Challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps

It is the third Monday of the month and that means another challenge on Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges Blog.  Always anything goes means lot of fun and creativity.  Two lucky winners will be awarded a $10 Gift Code to the on-line store.  One winner will be from only those entries that used a Jan's Digi Stamp image and the second from all other entries.

Finding an image for my card was easy because of the wonderful selection at the Jan's Digi Stamps on-line store.

I just love woodgrain and this rolling pin and bowls were perfect for a woodgrain background.  I took the images from the Flour Child set along with a sentiment from the same set.  I sized the bowl into a larger bowl and a smaller bowl.  I cut out the sentiment and put it on top of the rolling pin and you might not be able to see it, but I added a little woodgrain to the rolling pin with a colored pencil.  The woodgrain background is from Hobby Lobby and can be found with multiple colored woodgrain card stock.  I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the images.  I inked the edges of the card stock and the rolling pin.  And in my stash I found wood dots which finished this card perfectly.

I hope you take the time to go look at Jan's Digi Stamps, she's got some great images and the pre colored images are great if you are pressed for time, but want to give someone a hand made card.  They are also great for scrapbooking projects.  Hmmm....  That gives me an idea.

Here is an affiliate link to the Brother Scan n Cut I used.  A little for me, but cost nothing for you.  :-)

Have a great day, eat some chocolate and be kind to everyone.

  2. April, have you noticed lately that your blog is not the way it used to be? It's all jumbled, no side bars, no tags. Take a look at it as if you are a visitor coming to see your cards. It is also notifying people that there is a malware problem on your blog. I would email you, but I don't know your address. Just FYI.

  3. April, I just realized, your post is written in white color font lettering, and your background is also white, so no one can read what you have written. hugs, de
