Cards 4 Mom Card Recipe
This year's card started with a left over background from Stamp Joy 2021. Taylored Expressions hosted a day long make and take called Stamp Joy. It was a virtual event that was presented on Facebook Live. We made 9 cards I believe and this particular background was actually used as a stencil for one of the cards. Pretty cool right. I got 2 backgrounds for the price of 1. I used an old Hero Arts stamp and die set for the Happy Mother's Day. The die cut is the word happy and I popped that up on fun foam. Mother's Day is the stamped part of the set and I cut that out with a small banner die from My Favorite Things. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Oxide Ink so it would blend in with the background. The dots are from Nuvo. You will be seeing some of the techniques that I learned from Stamp Joy on some future cards. :-)

Hi April! What a fun, colorful Mother's Day card! I can only imagine how excited a tween girl would be giving this to her mom. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteLove the color blending on that pretty background. Very nice Mother's Day card. Hugs, teammate, DebiB
