It's raining men..............

Well maybe not raining men, but this week we're focusing on masculine projects.  I've used some sketches and some manly paper to create some cards for the boys.

So, I started with two 6 x 6 paper pads for the boys.

And then I took a sketch from Operation Write Home.

and this is the result:

I used a stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey.

This looks totally guy to me.  :-)  And aren't those monkeys adorable.

Tune in tomorrow for WOYWW which the world's largest weekly desk hop.

Thanks for stopping by and where ever you are - be there.

It's all about the guys.....

This week on the blog the theme is My man.  Cards for guys are my card making nemisis.  Give me flowers!  And for some reason flowers are not considered masculine.  So, this week I am taking my nemisis head on.  Well, most of the week.  Today is Diane's day.

As always Diane has been coloring and has come up with these adorable 'guy' cards.

How can you go wrong with Art Impressions stamps and a talented Copic colorer?  You can't.

You can't get more 'guy' than these cards.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.  Tune in tomorrow for some more masculine cards for 'my man'.

Have a great day and where ever you are - be there.

Philippinans 4:6 - 7  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Merry Christmas and Happy Babies

Kind of an odd combination - I know.  But I did say I would do a Christmas card on Friday and this week's theme is baby.  Well I lied.  I made the baby card, but didn't have the energy to make the Christmas card.  No wonder I'm working on Christmas cards at the last minute.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out 2 stitched mats.  Then I added the 'onesie'  cut from another project I worked on to the solid colored mat.  I taped 2 pieces of actate together and put some sequins in between them.  Then I put all the pieces together.

Tune in next week for the theme 'My man'.

Thanks for stopping by the blog and where ever you are - be there.

Psalm 5:11 - 12  But let all who take refuge in you be glad;  let them ever sing for joy.  Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.  Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;  you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

More Baby Baby

This week theme continues today with another baby themed project.

I got busy on my silhouette and created this folding card.  The item can be found in The Silhouette Store.

This was lots of fun to make.  I hope you are inspired to do your own layout.  .

Diane created this card welcoming a new baby boy into the world:

Ephesians 4:1 - 3 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely humble and gentle;  be patient bearing with one another in love.  Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Malachi 3:10  Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.  Test me in this, 'says the Lord Almighty,' and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

Cute Little Babies

It's baby week on the blog so I have been working on some projects to share with everyone.

Today I've made a card using my Silhouette.  You know I had to do a box card!

There are box cards for every occassion in the Silhouette Design Store.  Check it out.

And I used files from SVGCuts.com in a previous post to make some baby 'stuff' for a baby shower we had in December.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.  Have a great day and where ever you are - be there.

Hebrews 13:5 - 6  Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you;  never will I forsake you.'  So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper;  I will not be afraid.  What can mere mortals do to me?'

Baby Baby Baby

This week's theme is devoted to those cute little boys and girls that come into our lives and make us smile.  When I see little ones I will always comment, 'They're so cute when they're little'.  I say it especially loud when my 23 year old and 20 year old are within hearing distance.  They know exactly what I mean.  And so do you if you have ever had kids who are teenagers!  LOL

But I digress as this week is all about the cute little ones.

Diane had a request for some baby cards and she obliged.

Aren't these cards adorable.  Perfect for welcoming a little one into the world.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.  Tune in tomorrow for some more baby projects.

John 3:20 - 21  Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.  But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of od.

In the Red Wrapped Up

Today is Rita's day to share her awesome red project.

The stamps are from Inky Antics.  The fire hydrants are from the Silhouette store:

Rita stamped the dog image in black on white paper, scanned it and created a file.  Then she enlarged the dog and printed it on Neenah Classic Crest and colored with Copic markers. His face was colored from a second image and popped up with mounting tape.  Dog image is from an Inky Antics stamp set.  The hydrant is a silhouette file that Rita made into a card.

I also have Valentine's mailbox box card to share.  I cut it out using my Cricut Explore with a cut file from SVGCuts.com.

I didn't have enough room for a Christmas card this week.  Yep - that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Thank you for stopping by the blog this week.  Tune in next week for Baby baby.

Have a great day and where ever you are - be there.

James 1:5 - 6  If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.  But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because th one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Still Loving Red......

I'm really enjoying this week's theme.  Red is my favorite color and I could use red in every project I make.  So this week - I get to do that.  :-)

Here are some cards that I made using the stamp set Lotus Blossom from Stampin Up.  I used ink from Stampin Up and Fun Stampers Journey.  I used cranberry bliss ink for the sentiment and card
stock.  Both are from Fun Stampers Journey.

The sentiment is from Fun Stampers Journey.  I did some sewing on all but one of the cards.  The enamel dots are from Reflections (Michaels).

Fortunately red is a great Christmas color since tomorrow is Friday and that means I share a Christmas card.  I think I might have to make my own this week.  Oh well, it was bound to come to this.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.  Have a great day and where ever you are - be there.

1 Peter 5:8 - 9  Be alert and of sober mind.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

WOYWW 295 - Working Hard

It is Wednesday and that means I need to take a picture of my desk and share it with Julia at The Stamping Ground.  And then I get to go snoop around the desks of other crafters.

Here is my desk this week:

The desk looks just like it did last week!

Here is a red project.  My design team (in other words my friends who contribute to my blog when I can convince them) has given me lots of material this week:

Diane created this great card.  And what is better than 'red' wine.

Thank you for stopping by the blog.  Tune in tomorrow for some more 'In the Red' themed projects.

Have a great day and where ever you are - be there.

1 John 2:1 - 2  My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin.  But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father - Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.  He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Still In the Red............

Red is my favorite color and this week's theme is all around my favorite color.

One of my favorite places to shop is SVGCuts.com.  I love Mary's creations and her Valentine's projects are no different.  Here are the cutest little Valentine's mailboxes ever.

This is a Valentine's Box to collect Valentine's cards:

I used some Valentine's paper from My Mind's Eye:

Here is a cute mailbox that I made using Valentine's paper from Doodlebug:

Galatians 5:16 - 17  So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.  For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh.  They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
