Row 5 of My Quilt Made Using My Cricut Maker

Here is the video for row 5 of the quilt I am making with fabric cut using my Cricut Maker.  I'm loving the bright colors and all the half square triangle patterns the quilt uses.  The fabric I'm using is from Moda, Me and My Sister.

Here are the blocks that make up row 5.

I hope you will join along in the fun.  You really don't have to have a maker - just cut your own half square triangles and join in on the fun.  The finished blocks are 9 1/2 inches.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day, say something nice to someone and eat some chocolate.

Love/Valentine's Day Challenge at Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog

It is Thursday and that means it is time for a new challenge at the Creative Knockouts Challenge Blog.  This week's challenge is Love/Valentine's Day.  Our wonderful sponsor is The Paper Shelter and if you enter you have the chance to win 1 free image.

I used the Love is Chemistry to create my card.

Love Card Recipe

This cute digi was printed on Georgia Pacific 110 lb Georgia Pacific paper.  I used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out the image.  I found a bubble embossing folder and embossed pink card stock for the background.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and I stamped it in My Favorite Things black ink on the desk.  I popped up the image on foam tape along with the heart shaped cloud.

Enter your card in the challenge at Creative Knockouts for a chance to win.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.

Wool Pressing Mat - Worth the Price? Let's Compare

I hear all kinds of positive things about the wool pressing mat.  It makes pressing easier.  It makes the press better because heat is held in the wool and pressing from the bottom and the top.  The only down side is that wool mats are rather pricey.  Are they worth it?  I decided to do a comparison and find out.  Check out my video.

Thanks for stopping by.  Let me know if you think the wool mat is better.  Please give my video a thumbs up if you liked it.  Subscribe if you want to see more and share with your friends.

Have a great day and eat some chocolate.

It's the 1st Saturday of the month and that means it is time for another challenge at the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge Blog.  The theme for this challenge is Spring or Easter Cards 4 Kids or Anything Goes 4 Kids.  This challenge no longer has sponsors so you will be participating for pride not prize.

Send a Smile 4 Kids charity is dedicated to collecting and distributing handmade cards to children who are inpatient at Children's Hospitals.  Please send us your handmade kids' cards for holidays, birthdays, and everyday cheer.  Help us put a smile on our kids' faces.

Spring or Easter Cards 4 Kids Card Recipe

Had this image in my stash.  I just love these flowers and they said spring to me.  They are colored with alcohol markers.  I matted with a green piece of card stock and placed on a card base.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  Consider entering our challenge and donating your hand made cards to our great charity.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey and some chocolate.
